VYSE ART PUNCTURED MINDSCAPES

THIS PUNCTURED MINDSCAPE SERIES
EXPLORES IMAGINED SPACES AND 
PLACES. THESE WORKS ON PAPER 
ARE CREATED WITH SPONTANEOUS 
BRUSH STROKES AND PUNCTURES
FOR THREE DIMENSIONAL TEXTURES.
I HOPE THE VIEWER RESPONDS BY
USING THEIR IMAGINATION TO ESCAPE
INTO MY ART.

PUNCTURED DISC

This Punctured Disc was created 
with watercolor on 8 1/2" square
punctured handmade paper.

PUNCTURED BLUE MINDSCAPE

Many blue horizons created with
Indian ink and watercolor on 22" 
X 30" punctured 300 Lbs. paper.

TEXTURED MINDSCAPE

This Mindscape is all about the 
textures created with staples 
and enamel on 8 1/2" square
handmade paper.

INFINITY PUNCTURED MINDSCAPE

This Infinity Puntured Mindscape is
created with Indian ink and watercolor 
on 22" x 30" 300 Lbs. punctured paper.

PUNCTURED MINDSCAPE RED SKY

This imagined Mindscape sets a 
rich mood in intense red,sepia
watercolor with black Indian ink
on two 22" x 30" punctured 300
Lbs. paper (22" x 60").

Creating movement and mood with

DISC SCAPE

This punctured Disc Scape is imagined
and created with Indian ink and watercolor 
on 11" x  11" punctured paper.

FALL MINDSCAPE

This imagined Fall Mindscape is created
with spontaneous brush strokes in Indian
ink and watercolor to on two 22" x 30"
300 Lbs. punctured paper (22" x 60")


IMAGINED STREAM

This stream of spontaneous brush strokes
in Indian ink on 22" x 30" 300 Lbs. punctured 
paper. Each stroke is varied values from grey
to black creating a hypnotic scape.

MY STORY

At sixteen I moved to NYC from Appleton,Wisconsin
to study at the School of Visual Arts in NYC. 
Illustrating for department store advertising and
magazines it wasn't until I moved to Honolulu
that I had my first solo gallery exhibit.
When I moved back to NYC I was featured 
artist at Kew Gallery in Manhattan for many
years and exhibits in Boston and Hawaii.
Inspired by students and creating an 
atmosphere to inspire them I taught at
Pratt Institute in Brooklyn,Honolulu community
College and School of Fashion Design in 
Boston. My art has been published in Agave
magazine Spring 2015,Driftwood Press Fall 
2015,Gravel magazine Fall 2015 to name 
just a few. My art is in the Leslie+Lohman
Museum in Manhattan.
